About
Luke Neuville focuses his practice exclusively on criminal defense, representing clients throughout the Twin Cities metro area, the greater St. Cloud area, and in courts across Minnesota. His work includes DWI/DUI matters, criminal law, domestic violence defense, drug crimes, assault charges, theft, fraud, gun crimes, internet crimes, expungement, and serious felony allegations statewide.
Luke earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities after studying from 2004 to 2007. He later earned his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2010, where he was recognized on the Dean’s List and participated in National Moot Court through competitive advocacy training. Beginning his legal career in 2012, he built a defense practice centered on protecting the rights of people accused of crimes. Since then, he has handled thousands of criminal cases, building defense strategies around the facts, evidence, and legal issues involved.
Luke’s practice is especially focused on DWI and DUI defense, where careful review of stops, testing procedures, officer conduct, and evidentiary issues can be critical. He also represents clients facing solicitation, assault, drug, domestic violence, theft, fraud, and other criminal charges that may affect freedom, employment, and future professional opportunities. He has achieved dismissals, acquittals, and favorable resolutions by using strategic motion practice, challenging evidence, and seeking suppression of unlawful searches or unreliable proof. This approach helps clients seek reduced penalties, avoid jail, protect their records, and strengthen their negotiating position when legally possible.
When cases cannot be resolved through negotiation, Luke Neuville is prepared to proceed to trial and guide clients through each stage of the process. His criminal trial experience supports informed decision-making, strong courtroom preparation, and advocacy designed to protect clients facing stressful accusations and uncertain legal consequences from start to finish. He helps clients understand their options, protect their rights, and pursue the best available outcome with clear advice and steady representation. His career reflects focused criminal defense, practical guidance, and prepared advocacy for clients in Minnesota courts.
