Lorie Almon

Lorie Almon serves as Chair and Managing Partner and oversees firm strategy, finances, culture, brand, and operations. She is a respected leader in labor and employment law, guiding organizations through complex workplace disputes and high-level investigations. She also chairs the Executive and Compensation committees.

Lorie earned a BA, University of Vermont with honors. She later received a JD, University of Virginia School of Law, where she was honored with the Robert F. Kennedy Award, Class of 1994. Her education reflects both academic excellence and leadership ability.

Lorie focuses her legal practice on complex employment law matters. She represents employers in high-stakes litigation, internal investigations, and sensitive proceedings. Her experience includes discrimination class actions, wage-and-hour cases, and FINRA arbitrations. She frequently advises boards of directors and C-suite executives on risk management and dispute strategy.

Lorie leads nationwide legal teams in major employment disputes. She develops litigation strategies that address both legal exposure and business impact. Her work often involves class and collective actions, separation and release agreements, and government compliance matters. Clients rely on her judgment in challenging, high-profile workplace conflicts.

Lorie has been admitted to practice in New York and appears before multiple federal courts, including the US Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Fourth Circuits. She also practices before several US District Courts across New York, Connecticut, and Vermont.
