Lisa earned her B.A. in Political Science from Western Michigan University. She then pursued her J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law, further developing her expertise in litigation and legal analysis. Her strong academic foundation prepared her for a career focused on advocating for clients and upholding the law.

Lisa launched her legal career in criminal law and has more than a decade of courtroom experience. As an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, Michigan, she handled numerous high-profile felony cases and was primarily assigned to the Homicide Division. There, she successfully prosecuted complex murder cases, including securing murder convictions even when a victim’s body was never recovered. Her track record of building strong, evidence-based cases highlights her exceptional trial skills, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to justice.

Before joining the Prosecutor’s Office, Lisa was an associate at a medical malpractice insurance defense firm, where she gained valuable experience in insurance law. In 2012, she transitioned into the auto insurance sector, where she focused on defending first and third-party claims, as well as uninsured and underinsured motorist cases. Her deep knowledge of insurance law and litigation strategy allowed her to successfully represent clients in complex legal disputes.

Lisa Screen joined Mike Morse Law Firm in 2022, where she continues to fight for clients facing insurance claims and legal challenges. As a member of the Michigan Bar, she remains dedicated to delivering strong legal representation and securing favorable outcomes for her clients.
