Lisa R. Haddad is a partner in Goodwin Procter LLP, Boston office, where she leads the Public M&A and Corporate Governance practice. With a career spanning over two decades, Ms. Haddad counsels public companies, boards, and financial advisors in high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and complex corporate transactions. She has particular expertise in the life sciences and technology sectors, regularly guiding clients through transformative deals and governance challenges with strategic insight and legal precision.
Ms. Haddad earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1996. She received her B.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1993.
Ms. Haddad brings extensive experience advising on high-profile public and private M&A transactions, including billion-dollar deals such as Foundation Medicine’s sale to Roche and Citrix’s Reverse Morris Trust transaction with LogMeIn. A proven leader at Goodwin, she has served on the firm’s Executive Committee and as co-chair of its Public M&A / Corporate Governance practice and Women’s Initiative. She currently serves on the Allocations Committee and co-directs Goodwin’s Annual Directors Forum and GOOD Directors, a leadership program dedicated to advancing diversity in the boardroom.
Widely respected in the legal and corporate governance communities, Lisa R.
