About
Lisa Blue is a nationally recognized trial lawyer whose work has had a lasting impact on environmental and toxic tort litigation in the United States. Lisa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and earned two master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Virginia. She later completed a PhD in Counseling Psychology at North Texas State University and earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law, combining advanced academic training with legal expertise.
Following law school, Lisa joined the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted more than 125 cases to verdict. In 1985, Lisa joined Baron & Budd, where she concentrated on environmental and toxic tort matters. She and Fred Baron supervised more than 800 employees and managed the firm’s financial operations, helping build a nationally dominant practice that represented communities harmed by corporate misconduct and environmental contamination.
