Edward T. Lynch Jr.

Edward T. Lynch Jr. is a seasoned attorney with decades of experience handling complex litigation and regulatory matters. His practice includes antitrust and unfair competition litigation, business torts, construction litigation, eminent domain, tax appeal litigation, and environmental and toxic tort litigation. He also represents clients in insurance defense, intellectual property law, trademark law, computer and technology law, land use planning, and municipal law matters.

Edward earned his A.B. in 1976 from Georgetown University in Washington. He later completed his M.B.A at the University of Connecticut. He went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in Hartford, Connecticut. This combined business and legal education allows him to analyze disputes with both strategic and practical insight.

Edward is admitted to practice in Connecticut in 1970, and appears before the U.S. District Court, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Supreme Court, and U. S. Court of Military Appeals. He has also served as an Associate Professor of Law at Central Connecticut State University and acts as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, bringing balanced judgment to complex disputes.

Edward has held the Rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard while serving as Staff Judge Advocate. His professional excellence has been recognized with selection to Super Lawyers in 2013 – 2014 and an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. These distinctions reflect the respect he has earned within the legal community.
