Lindsay Truly

Lindsay Truly is a seasoned Fort Worth criminal defense attorney, widely known for her focused work in DWI and misdemeanor cases. As a former prosecutor, she brings invaluable experience and strategy into the courtroom. She has tried over 50 criminal jury trials and has resolved thousands of DWI and criminal matters with precision and care.

Lindsay’s education began at North Crowley High School, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. Lindsay was admitted to the Texas Bar in November 2011 and has remained in good standing ever since.

Lindsay has handled DWI cases of all kinds, from first-time DWI charges to complex felony DWI with aggravating factors. Drawing on her years of experience as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney—including presenting felony DWI cases to the Grand Jury—she knows how prosecutors build their cases and uses that insight to anticipate their strategies and develop strong, effective DWI defense.

In addition to her trial experience, Lindsay has earned numerous professional recognitions. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star by Thomson Reuters every year from 2020 through 2025. She has also been recognized as a Top Attorney in Criminal Law by both Fort Worth Magazine and 360 West Magazine across multiple years.

Lindsay’s memberships include the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. She also held past membership in the Texas District & County Attorneys Association during her prosecutorial career from 2012 to 2015.
