Dustin Trammel

Dustin Trammel is a highly experienced criminal defense lawyer based in Fort Worth, Texas. With a background as a former felony and DWI prosecutor, he has tried over 30 jury trials involving charges such as aggravated assault, robbery, DWI, and sexual assault. He is known for fighting to protect the rights and freedom of his clients in complex criminal matters.

Dustin earned a Bachelor of Science from Lubbock Christian University. He then obtained his J.D. from Arizona Summit Law School and studied as a visiting law student at Texas A&M University School of Law. While in law school, he was Student of the Year in 2012, Vice-President of the Student Bar Association, and Chief Justice of the Honor Court.

Before entering the legal field, Dustin served in the United States Army for eight years, including two deployments to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged in 2010 and later contributed his time to Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans. His military background brings a disciplined and strategic approach to his legal practice.

Dustin has worked at several criminal defense law firms and served as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney in Tarrant County’s Trial Division from 2015 to 2018. This dual background as both a criminal defense lawyer and prosecutor gives him extensive, hands-on experience handling hundreds of criminal cases from both sides of the courtroom.
