About
Linda S. Fang is the founder and principal attorney of Banyan Legal Counsel PLLC, where she leads with a mission to serve women and minority-owned businesses through accessible and strategic legal support. Since establishing her firm in 2015, Linda has provided client-focused counsel rooted in experience, empathy, and equity.
Linda earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2000 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2005. She is licensed to practice in California and Washington and admitted to several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
Before founding her firm, Linda spent eight years as an employment litigator in California. Today, she draws from that background to help business clients avoid legal pitfalls. Her services include employment counseling, compliance audits, workplace investigations, and drafting essential documents such as handbooks, contracts, and severance agreements.
A significant part of Linda’s work focuses on guiding multistate employers and businesses navigating the complexities of remote work environments. Her ability to deliver tailored legal strategies helps clients minimize risk and stay ahead of changing employment laws.
Beyond her legal practice, Linda is deeply involved in mentorship and professional advocacy. She volunteers for Communities Rise, contributes to equity-focused legal committees, and actively participates in legal organizations supporting Asian American and women attorneys. Recognized as a Washington Rising Star in 2020, she continues to lead by example in the pursuit of justice and inclusion.
Linda S. Fang remains dedicated to helping her clients succeed—not just legally, but holistically—by offering the legal tools and insights they need to grow confidently and sustainably.
