Jon C. Sirlin

Jon C. Sirlin is Sirlin Lesser & Benson, P.C.’s founding partner, bringing over thirty-five years of experience in civil litigation, commercial law, and transactional matters. He is widely recognized as a premier authority in commercial collections, landlord-tenant law, partnership disputes, and real estate litigation and leasing.

Mr. Sirlin received his Juris Doctor from Villanova University and earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Dickinson College in 1970. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and has served extensively in leadership and advisory roles, including as Chair of the Philadelphia Municipal Court Committee and as Judge Pro Tem for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Commerce Court.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Sirlin has earned a strong reputation for combining deep legal scholarship with effective, results-driven litigation strategies. He is a co-author of the Pennsylvania Form Residential Lease and a trusted mediator and legal educator. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, real estate law, creditors’ rights, banking law, construction law, tort litigation, employment disputes, and landlord-tenant law.
