Linda Menzel

Linda Menzel is of counsel at Alpine Law PLLC, where she advises companies on corporate, commercial, financing, regulatory, and international business matters. She serves technology, cannabis, health care law, consumer-product, and lifestyle businesses pursuing growth, transactions, and market expansion. She has negotiated, drafted, and completed complex agreements while helping clients evaluate legal exposure and commercial priorities. Her practice includes cryptocurrency, blockchain, securities, tax strategy, healthcare, and United States–China transactions.

Linda earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University in 1996. She joined Quarles & Brady LLP after law school, beginning in litigation before transferring to its corporate practice. She gained admission to the State Bar of California in 2008, where her license remains active.

Linda later served as general counsel for Cygne Designs and advised the apparel company during its transition into a public business. She held legal leadership roles involving the Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier brands, overseeing licensing, intellectual property, retail, employment, and operations. She then joined Playboy Enterprises as associate general counsel for licensing business affairs. She later advised Loot Crate and Ignite International on governance, compliance, commercial agreements, acquisitions, media, and risk management.

Linda Menzel brings more than 20 years of combined in-house and outside-counsel experience to sophisticated business matters. She understands how legal decisions affect operations, branding, revenue, and long-term growth. She has advised boards, executives, startups, public companies, and established consumer brands across several industries. Her broad commercial background helps her structure transactions, manage compliance obligations, and address disputes while keeping each client’s business objectives central.
