About
Linda Faith Burgos is a founding partner at Burgos & Burgos, LLC in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Her practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation, with litigation forming the core of her work. She represents clients seeking compensation after accidents and other injuries caused by negligence. Her professional work also includes outreach intended to help Spanish-speaking residents better understand their rights in legal proceedings.
Linda received a B.A. in Political Science from Wheaton College in Illinois in 1983 and a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 1987. She was admitted to the Maryland bar in 1987 and the District of Columbia bar in 1988. Her legal education and litigation experience support her handling of injury claims, disputed medical issues, and cases requiring careful evaluation of losses and responsibility.
Linda has worked on injury cases involving significant damages, including a reported $3.8 million settlement arising from an elevator fall and a $1 million policy-limits settlement involving a leg amputation. She has also organized legal fairs and court open houses through the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association. These programs introduced Spanish-speaking community members to topics involving civil, criminal, landlord-tenant, juvenile, and family law.
Linda Faith Burgos was recognized among Bethesda Magazine’s Top Attorneys in 2019. She has served on the board and as secretary of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and taught at University of Maryland University College from 2002 through 2012. Her pro bono activities include legal education events and volunteer service with the National Association of Women Judges Storybook Project. Her practice pairs injury litigation with sustained community and professional involvement.
