About
Lee Coleman has practiced law for more than three decades, building a reputation for results-driven advocacy and careful attention to the people behind each case. His work centers on personal injury matters, where he approaches every claim as a unique story that deserves to be clearly presented, strongly supported, and responsibly pursued.
Lee began his academic path with a Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky, which he completed in 1978. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville in 1981. This progression from business studies to legal training provided a practical foundation for understanding both financial impact and legal strategy in complex cases.
Lee started his legal career in public service as a Prosecutor with the Warren County Attorney’s office in Bowling Green, Kentucky. During this time, he represented the Commonwealth in Criminal, Traffic, and Juvenile matters and tried approximately 50 jury trials, developing strong courtroom skills and firsthand knowledge of litigation from the government’s perspective.
Lee later transitioned into private practice, where he expanded his experience by working on Chapter 7 Bankruptcy cases for individuals facing serious financial hardship. Through this work, he represented clients affected by job loss and medical debt, strengthening his understanding of how legal outcomes directly affect everyday lives and long-term stability.
Lee’s career eventually shifted toward representing injury victims, particularly individuals hurt in vehicle crashes or workplace incidents. He served as lead trial counsel in numerous jury trials, handling courtroom preparation, witness presentation, and argument. His focus has consistently remained on accountability, clear evidence, and pursuing appropriate compensation under the law.
Lee Coleman has received notable professional recognition for his work, including an AV Rating from Martindale- Hubbell®, reflecting the highest level of peer-reviewed legal ability and ethics. He has also been named a Kentucky Super Lawyer in Personal Injury since 2012, honoring his sustained excellence and professional standing within the legal community.
