Laura Blaydes

Laura Blaydes is an Indiana attorney who represents clients in criminal defense, family law, and litigation matters. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate difficult legal challenges with clear guidance and steady advocacy in both state and federal courts.

Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in German from IUPUI in 2011. She later obtained a Master’s in Curriculum Development from the American College of Education in 2017. She received her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2021.

While attending law school in the evening division, Laura continued working full-time as a public-school teacher. She primarily taught high school German, Health, and Physical Education. She also spent two years working for the Indiana Department of Education before beginning her legal career.

Laura’s practice focuses on criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. She represents clients facing criminal charges, assists families with domestic legal matters, and handles contested disputes requiring courtroom advocacy. She prepares each case carefully and works to protect her clients’ rights at every stage.

Laura is admitted to practice law in Indiana and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Her background in education strengthens her ability to explain complex legal issues in straightforward terms and keep clients informed throughout their cases.
