Brett B. Gibson

Brett B. Gibson is an experienced Indiana criminal defense attorney with significant jury trial experience. He has secured acquittals in serious felony, misdemeanor, and OWI trials, and represents clients throughout Indiana in state and federal courts across a wide range of criminal matters.

Brett earned his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington in 1997 and his B.B.A. from the University of Miami in 1994. He is admitted to practice in Indiana and before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Brett has extensive experience defending college students in criminal cases and university disciplinary proceedings. For more than twenty years, he has represented students at Purdue, Indiana University, Ball State, IUPUI, Indiana State, and Wabash College, including international students facing immigration consequences.

Brett also represents clients in sealing and expunging criminal records and in reducing Class D felony and Level 6 felony convictions to misdemeanors. His firm has handled criminal defense and expungement matters in more than 80 Indiana counties.
