Larry H. Krantz

Larry H. Krantz is a founding partner and former federal prosecutor with extensive experience in both trial and appellate matters, including commercial litigation and white-collar defense. He has tried more than 25 cases before juries, judges, and arbitration panels, and argued over 25 appeals in federal and New York State courts with consistent success.

Mr. Krantz earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as an editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. He also clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as a student and later for Judge I. Leo Glasser of the Eastern District of New York, gaining formative insight into federal practice.

Mr. Krantz’s work spans complex business disputes, regulatory investigations, and criminal matters involving agencies such as the U.S. Attorney’s Offices, SEC, and FINRA. He also maintains a focused practice representing insurers in contested life insurance matters, offering creative and effective solutions grounded in deep legal experience.

In civil litigation, Mr. Krantz represents corporations and individuals in actions involving fraud, breach of contract, fiduciary duty issues, antitrust claims, RICO allegations, and professional malpractice. He also regularly appears in FINRA arbitrations on behalf of brokers, customers, and brokerage firms navigating allegations of misconduct.

Mr. Krantz has earned recognition from Chambers USA, Super Lawyers, and Who’s Who Legal: Global Investigations Review. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, reflecting his reputation for excellence in trial advocacy and professional integrity.

Larry H. Krantz’s experience includes service as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, adjunct instructor at Brooklyn Law School, and guest lecturer at NYU, Cornell, and national trial advocacy programs. He has authored publications on federal criminal defense and serves in leadership roles with the Federal Bar Council and related organizations, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the legal profession.
