Laneyscha Echevarría Méndez

Laneyscha Echevarría Méndez is the managing attorney and owner of L. Echevarria Attorneys at Law, a bilingual firm serving clients from offices in Lewes and Milford, Delaware. She focuses on residential and commercial real estate, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and contracts. Echevarría advises buyers, sellers, property owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations, helping them complete transactions, resolve legal issues, and make informed decisions in English or Spanish.

Echevarría earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2017. During law school, she served as an editor and director of the law review and assisted professors with publications involving for-profit and nonprofit corporations, condominium law, and tax law. She also clerked for Justice Felix Figueroa Caban in the Court of Appeals and completed an Ottawa exchange program focused on art, technology, and law.

After relocating to Delaware following Hurricane Maria, Echevarría gained experience at established firms handling commercial and residential property matters, business planning and formation, complex corporate affairs, and federal tax issues. Her practice includes real estate settlements, refinances, purchase agreements, seller financing, leases, deeds, easements, title defects, and mortgage documents. She also assists businesses with incorporations, succession planning, governance, contract drafting and review, and mergers and acquisitions.

Laneyscha Echevarría Méndez is an active member of the American Bar Association and is admitted in Delaware, New York, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and the United States Tax Court. She founded her firm to provide personalized, accessible legal guidance and to conduct real estate transactions in both English and Spanish. Her practical approach, attention to communication, and understanding of transactional matters help clients navigate important property and business decisions with greater clarity.
