L. Patrick Mulligan

L. Patrick Mulligan is the founder of Moermond & Mulligan, LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a criminal defense lawyer with more than 35 years of experience. His practice includes DUI and OVI charges, drug crimes, violent felonies, sex offenses, domestic violence, assault and battery, federal crimes, and weapons charges. Patrick represents people accused of serious offenses and draws on extensive courtroom experience to develop defense strategies and protect clients’ rights.

Patrick earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1984 and his B.A. in English and Economics from Kings College in 1981. He began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, where he handled more than 180 felony cases. That background provided direct experience with charging decisions, evidence, trial preparation, and prosecution strategy, which now informs his work on behalf of criminal defendants.
