Ksenija Kokanovic

Ksenija Kokanovic is a distinguished attorney with a strong background in family law and a wide range of legal expertise. She earned her J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 2005 and was admitted to practice law in Wisconsin (2006) and Illinois (2021).

During her time at Indiana University, Ksenija demonstrated her leadership abilities as the Lead Articles Editor for the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review (2004-2005). She was also an active member of the International Law Society and received recognition for her pro bono work and academic excellence with a scholarship award.

Ksenija’s legal practice spans multiple areas, including divorce, legal separation, custody, paternity, post-judgment motions, consumer bankruptcy, Chapter 128, criminal law, personal injury, traffic offenses, business and family immigration law, asylum, deportations, and asbestos-related cases in Wisconsin. Her early career included valuable experience as a legal intern at the Capital Area Immigrants Rights Coalition in Washington, D.C., and the Indiana Counter-Terrorism and Security Council in Indianapolis. Additionally, she served as a Special Projects Analyst at JP Morgan & Chase.
