Denzil D. McKenzie

Denzil D. McKenzie is the managing director and founder of McKenzie and Associates, P.C., a law firm providing legal solutions in business litigation, bankruptcy, tax appeals, estate planning, and corporate law. With over 40 years of experience, he is a trusted advisor to businesses, non-profits, and individuals navigating complex financial and corporate matters. McKenzie earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and studied tax law at the Boston University Graduate Tax Program. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, graduating magna cum laude. His strong academic background reinforces his expertise in financial, corporate, and tax-related legal matters.

McKenzie launched his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, building a strong foundation in litigation and regulatory law. Since then, he has become a trusted advisor to businesses, corporate clients, and nonprofit organizations, serving as outside counsel to health and human service providers, religious institutions, and community groups. He has served as Treasurer of the Clients’ Security Board of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and is a Fellow of both the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation.
