Kristina M. Foudray

Kristina M. Foudray is a senior attorney at Seager Tufte Wickhem LLP, where she focuses her practice on intellectual property law, particularly in the areas of trademarks, copyrights, internet law, and licensing. Based in the firm’s Minneapolis office, she helps clients across a wide array of industries manage, protect, and enforce their intellectual property rights. Her experience spans the clothing, consumer goods, electronics, food, medical device, pharmaceutical, fire safety, hair care, vehicle, and recreational sports sectors.

Kristina earned her J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. She also holds dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire—a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in French. She has been practicing law since 1998 and joined Seager Tufte Wickhem LLP in 2011.

Kristina’s work includes all aspects of U.S. and international trademark portfolio management. She regularly handles trademark prosecution, searches, opinions, licensing agreements, and enforcement actions. She has extensive experience representing clients before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in matters such as oppositions, cancellations, and appeals.

Beyond trademarks, Kristina advises on all aspects of copyright and internet law, including infringement disputes, clearance and risk assessments, licensing, and litigation. She also counsels on right of publicity and brand protection strategies, helping creators, influencers, and companies protect and monetize their intellectual property in today’s digital-first environment.
