Kristina L. Morales

Kristina L. Morales is a family law attorney serving clients in Wheaton and throughout DuPage, Kane, and Kendall counties. She concentrates her practice on divorce and domestic relations matters, including complex financial disputes, contested custody issues, maintenance, and appeals. Kristina earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Northern Illinois University College of Law. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from Columbia College of Missouri. During law school, she concentrated in International Law and was invited to present original legal scholarship at an international conference. Her academic excellence was recognized through multiple scholarships and honors, reflecting her strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

Before entering the legal profession, Kristina built a successful career in finance and corporate auditing, working in banking and for a multinational corporation. After law school, she served as a Supreme Court Rule 711 intern with the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, gaining hands-on courtroom experience. She later worked as a Staff Attorney for the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Appellate Prosecutor and Prairie State Legal Services, representing vulnerable clients in sensitive matters.

Kristina L. Morales is admitted to practice in Illinois and is an active member of several bar associations. She is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, allowing her to assist a diverse client base. Her background in finance and litigation strengthens her ability to handle complex financial evaluations in divorce cases.
