Kira N. Albrecht

Kira N. Albrecht focuses her legal practice on complex family law and civil appellate matters, guiding clients through sensitive disputes involving parenting time, financial support, and marital property. She approaches each case with thoughtful strategy, careful preparation, and a commitment to understanding every client’s priorities and long-term family stability goals.

Kira completed her Juris Doctor at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she earned a scholarship and was named to the Dean’s List for four consecutive semesters. She also participated in the Chicago Bar Association Symphony Orchestra as a violinist and violist, while supporting professional development through the Society of Women in Law.

Kira began her legal career working in commercial and class action litigation in DuPage County, where she developed strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills. She later expanded her experience at a telecommunications infrastructure company, handling real estate, zoning, and regulatory matters that strengthened her analytical and problem-solving approach to legal disputes.

Kira concentrates her practice on family law disputes involving prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, parenting time conflicts, and the financial issues tied to divorce, including maintenance, child support, and division of marital assets. She has also worked on complex matters involving business valuations, asset tracing, and forensic accounting in high-net-worth cases.

Kira believes that every family law matter requires a personalized strategy shaped by the client’s goals and circumstances. She  begins representation by carefully listening to each client and developing practical solutions designed to address legal, financial, and parenting concerns while maintaining focus on stability and long-term outcomes for families involved.

Kira has earned recognition within the legal community for her developing advocacy and dedication to clients. She was named an “Emerging Lawyer” by Leading Lawyers in 2023 and 2024, later selected as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2023 and 2024, and recognized by Best Lawyers as “One to Watch” in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
