Kimberly Larsen Rider is a seasoned attorney whose practice centers on insurance defense litigation. She handles a wide range of cases involving first-party coverage, bad faith claims, and third-party defense matters. Her litigation expertise is marked by a strategic and client-focused approach that consistently delivers successful results in both trial and appellate courts.

Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English, graduating cum laude from Villanova University. She later obtained her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. Her strong academic training underpins her methodical and analytical handling of complex legal disputes.

Before dedicating her practice to insurance defense, Kimberly handled civil litigation and criminal defense matters throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She is licensed to practice law in Washington State, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the District of Rhode Island and the Western District of Washington, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Among her notable cases, Kimberly successfully defended a jury verdict in Lock v. American Family Insurance Company, reducing a potential $800,000 bad faith damages claim to $40,000. In Farmers v. FirstChoice Chiropractic, she helped obtain a $250,000 settlement in a federal RICO and fraud action, demonstrating her effectiveness in complex and high-value litigation.

Kimberly Larsen Rider is a member of the Rhode Island, Washington State, and King County Bar Associations. She also serves on the board of the Work Force Development Center in Everett, Washington, where she supports career training initiatives for disadvantaged high school students preparing to enter the workforce.
