Jason Crawford

Jason Crawford is the founding attorney of Crawford Law Alaska and serves clients in Fairbanks and other Alaska communities. His practice emphasizes bankruptcy and probate while also covering family law, business law, personal injury, and civil litigation. He has more than two decades of legal experience handling matters that range from Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings to probate administration, business questions, injury claims, construction disputes, and other state and federal court litigation.

Crawford earned a J.D. from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2001. He also earned a B.A. from Brigham Young University and an A.A. from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After law school, he served as a judicial law clerk, including work with the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. His education and clerkship experience support a practice built around research, procedure, and courtroom problem solving.

Crawford has represented clients in hundreds of bankruptcy matters and has experience with Chapter 7, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 cases. His broader work includes probate, wills and trusts, personal injury, real estate, construction law, criminal defense, landlord-tenant disputes, contracts, and business formation and advisory matters. He also served as an Assistant Attorney General in the State of Alaska Department of Law’s Civil Division before continuing in private practice.
