Kevin L. Von Tungeln

Kevin L. Von Tungeln is the managing partner at Thompson Von Tungeln, serving clients across California in all aspects of estate planning, trust, and probate law. With more than three decades of legal experience, he provides trusted guidance in wills, trusts, conservatorships, guardianships, and elder law matters. As a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, Kevin is recognized for his depth of knowledge and unwavering commitment to protecting families and their legacies.

Kevin earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he was a member of the New Mexico Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and multiple U.S. District Courts within California, as well as in the District of Columbia.

Throughout his distinguished career, Kevin has earned numerous honors, including “Attorney of the Year” from the Antelope Valley Bar Association. His professional affiliations include membership in the State Bar of California’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section, the District of Columbia Bar, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Dedicated to community service, he serves on the Board of Directors for Desert Christian Schools and CareNet and on the Finance Committee for the Antelope Valley Hospital Foundation.
