With more than 17 years in business and international law, Sasha Begum offers extensive experience in domestic and global transactions. She works closely with a diverse clientele—from large corporations to startups—providing legal guidance to protect assets, ensure compliance, and build solid contractual foundations.

Sasha holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology from Tufts University in Boston. She received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., and went on to complete a J.D.-equivalent focused on European Union law at Universidad Alfonso X in Madrid, Spain. This diverse legal training allows her to confidently handle international and cross-border legal challenges.

Sasha was inspired to become an attorney after a personal family business experience revealed the risks of poor legal planning. Since then, she has remained committed to helping others avoid similar setbacks. Her work includes meticulously drafted contracts and wills, designed to offer her clients peace of mind and long-term security.

Sasha launched her legal career at Bracewell in Houston, Texas, where she supported high-value real estate, infrastructure, and oil and gas projects. She then joined Baker & McKenzie’s Major Projects Practice Group, broadening her international project finance and cross-border transactions experience. Later, as in-house counsel at Cardtronics Inc., she honed her ability to deliver business-focused legal solutions that align closely with operational and strategic goals.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Sasha is known for her ability to negotiate, draft, and communicate clearly across cultural and language barriers. She takes pride in making legal processes accessible and understandable, regardless of a client’s background or business size.
