About
Kelly S. Sanchez is a partner at Martinez, Hart, Sanchez & Romero, P.C. She is a dedicated attorney. She focuses on personal injury and civil claims for crime victims, especially children and the vulnerable. A staunch advocate for accountability, Kelly has fought to make New Mexico safer and fairer.
In 2009, Kelly earned her J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law. She won the Faculty Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School Community. She began at the University of Minnesota. There, she earned a BA in history and political science. She was also an NCAA student-athlete on the gymnastics team.
Joining Martinez, Hart, Sanchez & Romero, P.C. in 2010, Kelly quickly established herself as a passionate litigator. She focuses on wrongful death, child injury, and disability cases. Her work includes sexual abuse claims and civil cases for crime victims. She is known for empowering clients by advocating for their rights and ensuring they have the power to make informed decisions.
Kelly’s achievements include: the 2019 UNM Law School’s Distinguished Alumni Promise Award and a 2020 Super Lawyer title. From 2014 to 2019, her peers named her a Rising Star in personal injury and civil rights.
Besides her legal work, Kelly is on the board of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association. She also volunteers with the ACLU’s Rape Legal Panel. And, she helps with other efforts to improve justice for victims.
Kelly has a career of legal excellence and community service. She advocates for change in her community and represents her clients with compassion.
