Kelly Dancy

Kelly Dancy is an estate planning attorney with deep experience in wills, trusts, probate, and asset protection. She provides legal guidance to clients on preparing key documents such as powers of attorney, HIPAA waivers, and marital property agreements. She is known for handling complex trust modifications and high-value estate plans with attention to detail.

Kelly began her academic journey at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics, graduating magna cum laude. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, building the foundation for her specialized legal practice.

Kelly focuses on probate and trust administration, particularly in difficult or contested cases. She advises fiduciaries and beneficiaries in complex disputes and works to resolve matters without litigation when possible. Her experience includes irrevocable grantor trusts and life insurance trusts, showcasing her ability to navigate advanced planning strategies.

Kelly has been nationally recognized for her contributions to the legal field. She received the Kenneth Black, Jr. Journal Author Award for her article on trust situs. Kelly serves in leadership roles across the legal and financial services community. She is a national board member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, vice president of the Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum, and a fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation. She holds AEP and EPLS designations through the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
