Heidi Buck Morrison

Heidi Buck Morrison is a dedicated attorney focused on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, litigation, real estate, and business law matters. She represents Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees and handles complex disputes involving creditors and property interests. She also serves as the civil city attorney for the City of American Falls, advising on municipal legal issues and compliance.

Heidi earned a B.S., University of Montana in 2004, where she studied journalism and political science. She later obtained her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2009. During law school, she worked as a law clerk, volunteered with the King County Bar Association Family Law Clinic, received the CALI Excellence Award for Client Interviewing, Settlement and Negotiation, and participated in the Capital Appeals Clinic.

Heidi has extensive courtroom and appellate experience. She has argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Washington appellate courts. Her practice also includes appearances in Idaho and Washington state, federal, and bankruptcy trial courts. Earlier in her career, she represented banks, credit unions, mortgage services, and trustees in mortgage and real property disputes.

Heidi is admitted to practice in Idaho and Washington, along with several U.S. District Courts and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in those states. She is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Her peers recognized her as a rising star in the Mountain States edition of Super Lawyers® in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
