Daniel C. Green focuses his legal practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and complex financial disputes. He represents banks, financial institutions, trustees, and creditors in loan workouts, secured transaction litigation, and insolvency matters. His experience includes foreclosure actions, bank litigation, and bankruptcy proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Dan earned his B.A. from Weber State University in 1980, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He later received his J.D. from Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark Law School, 1984, graduating Cum Laude. His academic achievements reflect his strong foundation in legal research, writing, and analysis that continues to guide his practice today.
Dan is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts of the States of Idaho and Utah and before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He regularly represents Bankruptcy Trustees throughout Southeast Idaho and advises secured lenders on documentation, enforcement, and recovery strategies. His work often involves guiding creditors through complex reorganizations and contested bankruptcy litigation.
Dan has been recognized for his leadership and skill in bankruptcy and creditor law. He is certified by the American Board of Certification in Business Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Law and holds an AV Preeminent 5 out of 5 Martindale Hubbell Rating – 2003 to Present. He has also been named a Super Lawyer from 2008 to Present and included in The Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law from 2010 to Present. His AVVO rating of 10.0 further reflects peer and client recognition.
Daniel C. Green remains committed to helping creditors and trustees protect their rights and achieve practical, effective solutions in challenging financial matters. Dan is active in the legal community through the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section, Idaho State Bar, where he served as a former member and Chairman Board of Governors. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, and Commercial Law League of America.
