She also earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Colgate University, where she was valedictorian and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

In her legal career, Katie has represented lenders in closing complex commercial loans, including syndicated healthcare loans secured across multiple states. She has also advised banks on foreclosed properties governed by homeowners’ and condominium associations. Her practice includes preparing condominium declarations, bylaws, rules, regulations, and public offering statements for traditional and airspace condominium projects. She also advises developers on compliance with FHA, Fannie Mae, and VA condominium financing guidelines.
