John S. De Lanoy is a partner with a broad real estate practice focused on structuring, development, and operations. He represents owners, developers, and operators in a wide range of matters, providing practical guidance on transactions, leasing, and dispute resolution across complex commercial real estate projects.
John earned a B.A. in History/English, cum laude, from Colgate University and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. His education supports a strong foundation in legal analysis and effective client service across real estate and business matters.
John handles all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and portfolio management. He advises on contract negotiations, risk management, due diligence, and construction projects. His work also includes dispute resolution and litigation management, helping clients address challenges efficiently and protect long-term investments.

His work includes advising on major acquisitions, financing transactions, and construction projects, as well as supporting private equity funds and healthcare clients in complex real estate matters.
