Kathryn S. Lonowski brings decades of focused legal experience in domestic relations and litigation. Her work centers on divorce, maintenance, child support, contested custody, adoption, and marital agreements. Kathryn completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with majors in English and news-editorial journalism, followed by a Bachelor of Science, with Distinction, through dual matriculation. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law. During law school, she served on Law Review and became a published author in family law.

Kathryn concentrates her practice on all aspects of family law litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She has resolved hundreds of matters involving complex financial and parenting issues. Her mediation practice has been active since 1996, following completion of mediation coursework in Boulder, Colorado. She works to guide parties toward durable solutions while protecting legal rights throughout the process.

Kathryn maintains a strong professional presence within the legal community through leadership, service, and scholarship. She has served in leadership roles with the Larimer County Bar Association and remains involved with several legal organizations. Her published work includes “The Unwed Father’s Parental Rights and Obligations After S.P.B.: A Retreat in Constitutional Protection,” reflecting her long-standing engagement with evolving family law issues.
