Marc D. Roberts

Marc D. Roberts is the owner and principal attorney of the Law Offices of Marc D. Roberts. A 2004 graduate of the Roger Williams University School of Law, he began his legal career as an assistant district attorney for Bristol County before entering private practice in 2006. Since then, he has represented thousands of clients from the same office.

Roberts is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than twenty years of experience and thousands of days spent in court. His practice focuses primarily on criminal law and family law, where he is known for thorough preparation, direct counsel, and a strong commitment to fairness and justice. He handles a wide range of matters involving the rights of the accused, parents, students, consumers, and injured individuals.

In addition to private practice, Roberts is deeply invested in legal education and professional development. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts School of Law and has taught undergraduate courses at Bristol Community College in both the Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies Programs. He has also mentored numerous undergraduate and law school interns over the years.

Roberts is highly respected within the legal community. He is the past President of the Bristol County Bar Advocates, the largest criminal defense attorney organization in the county. He currently serves as a Supervising Attorney, overseeing more than 100 criminal defense attorneys contracted by the state to represent indigent individuals in Bristol County.
