Ms. Wautlet earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from New York University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Arizona State University. While at NYU Law, she was recognized as an Ehrenkranz Scholar and Robert McKay Scholar and served as a Managing Editor for the NYU Annual Survey of American Law. Her award-winning legal scholarship, including the Seymour A. Levy Award for her published note on digital payola regulation, reflects her keen analytical abilities.
Before joining Sanford Heisler Sharp McKnight, Ms. Wautlet gained invaluable experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Alistair E. Newbern in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She also externed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and Magistrate Judge Jeffrey S. Frensley, further developing her expertise in government civil litigation.
Ms. Wautlet is a member of the Tennessee Bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She is also actively involved in the Lawyers’ Association for Women, Marion Griffin Chapter, and was named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers list.
