Julie Laemmle Watts

Julie Laemmle Watts is a partner at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, based in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a seasoned member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Labor & Employment, and Intellectual Property Protection & Litigation Service Teams. Julie focuses her practice on commercial disputes, trademark and copyright law, healthcare litigation, and employment matters. She is recognized for her strategic legal thinking and client-focused approach, handling a range of cases from trademark enforcement to complex civil claims.

Julie earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as Senior Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality and received the CALI award for excellence in transaction drafting. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Mass Communication from Saint Mary’s College, with minors in business administration and public relations.

Julie has represented clients in a wide range of litigation, including defending a correctional nurse in a constitutional claim, obtaining summary judgment in employment and product liability cases, and representing corporations in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
