Julie A. Preciado

Julie A. Preciado is an associate attorney at Dunn Carney, focusing on business law, litigation, and employment law. She has extensive experience advising businesses on workplace compliance, employment policies, and dispute resolution. Julie’s background as a former business owner gives her a deep understanding of the legal challenges companies face. Julie earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Portland State University and later obtained her J.D., cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law. During law school, she was an active leader, serving as the American Bar Association Liaison, President of the Multicultural Law Student Association, and Co-Chair of the Dean Santos Diversity Speaker Series. She was also a Cite and Source Editor for the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution.

Julie brings well-rounded, practical legal experience to her work. She has completed an externship with Oregon Supreme Court Chief Justice Martha Walters, an internship with U.S. Magistrate Judge John V. Acosta, and served as a law clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office.
