Juan Antonio Lozada

Juan Antonio Lozada is an Of Counsel attorney and Head of Immigration with more than 21 years of legal experience. His practice focuses on immigration law and Veterans and Military Law, areas in which he is federally authorized to practice nationwide. He is actively licensed in Texas and Colorado but is not licensed to practice state law in Florida. His background includes leadership of multidisciplinary legal teams and representation involving immigration proceedings, military matters, civil litigation, insurance disputes, and commercial concerns.

Juan earned a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, followed by LL.M. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, University of Houston, and American University. He also earned an M.A. in International Relations from St. Mary’s University and a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. His additional executive education includes programs at Wharton and WHU, along with an Executive MBA from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Juan began his career as a prosecutor and later served as a prosecutor and senior trial counsel with the US Army JAG Corps, the US Department of Justice, and the State of Texas. His experience includes leading jury trials involving violent crimes, fraud, and complex litigation, advising senior military leaders, and prosecuting state criminal matters. He has also handled personal injury and insurance coverage disputes, construction defect litigation, commercial cases, regulatory compliance, and anti-money-laundering operations involving more than 30 countries.

Juan Antonio Lozada combines trial experience, immigration knowledge, military service, and regulatory leadership in his legal practice. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and is fluent in English and Spanish, with intermediate Portuguese skills. He also created and hosts *Cafecito Migratorio*, a Spanish-language legal education program that explains immigration policies in practical terms. His work emphasizes accessible legal information, careful case preparation, and guidance designed to help individuals and businesses understand complex legal processes.
