Karen-Lee Pollak is the Managing Attorney of Pollak PLLC, where she provides full-service immigration law counsel to corporations, small businesses, investors, and individuals. Her practice includes immigrant and non-immigrant visas, family immigration, employment-based immigration, permanent residence, citizenship matters, corporate compliance audits, and immigration policy development. Karen-Lee also handles federal immigration litigation under the Administrative Procedure Act. As an immigrant herself, she brings personal perspective to the legal and practical challenges involved in moving employees and families to the United States today.

Karen-Lee earned her J.D. in Law from the University of Witwatersrand in 1993. She previously earned her B.A. in International Relations and Sociology from the University of Witwatersrand in 1990. Her education in law, international relations, and sociology supports a practice centered on immigration, mobility, and cross-border legal issues. She later built her legal career in the United States, where she advises businesses, investors, professionals, and families navigating complex immigration requirements and long-term immigration planning.

Karen-Lee represents businesses, investors, athletes, professionals, and families in a wide range of immigration matters. Her representative work includes P visas for professional athletes, O-1 visas for individuals with extraordinary ability, E visas for investors and traders, L-1 transfers for multinational companies, and EB-2 and EB-3 permanent residence matters. She also assists family members sponsoring spouses, children, and parents for green cards and handles federal court proceedings involving citizenship denials and delays in permanent residence applications through complex immigration processes.

Karen-Lee Pollak has been recognized by Chambers and Partners, D Magazine, and Texas Super Lawyers for her immigration practice. She is a frequent speaker and writer on immigration issues and authors the When Immigration Matters blog.
