Josh Hayes is a Tuscaloosa trial attorney at Prince Glover Hayes, representing clients in significant civil litigation. His practice includes personal injury law, insurance fraud and bad faith, defective products, trucking wrecks, and wrongful death. He has also handled high-stakes litigation addressing the opioid crisis, online exploitation, and deceptive business practices. Josh earned his J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, completing the program while working in Alabama state government. He served on the editorial board of the Jones Law Review. He earned his B.S. Honors degree in Accounting, cum laude, from an acrredited institution, with a minor in Computer-Based Honors. Before entering legal practice, he served as a senior aide and cabinet member to Governor Don Siegelman and Legislative Director to Lieutenant Governor Lucy Baxley.
Josh has played prominent roles in complex litigation affecting Alabama communities. He was appointed Deputy Attorney General in litigation addressing prescription opioid manufacturers and distributors and currently serves as co-lead counsel in Alabama’s case against TikTok and related entities. He has also pursued litigation involving companies accused of profiting from sex trafficking and child exploitation. His broader plaintiff-side practice focuses on holding corporations, insurers, manufacturers, and other responsible parties accountable for serious harm.
Josh Hayes is a past president of the Alabama Association for Justice and has served in numerous professional leadership positions. He is an Alabama Law Foundation Fellow and has served on the Alabama State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners. His recognitions include an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and selection to Alabama Super Lawyers.
