Josh Bither

Josh Bither is a trial-focused attorney at The Law Office of Evan Barrickman P.C. in Anchorage, Alaska. Josh earned his Juris Doctor degree from Liberty University School of Law, where he was an active member of the Student Bar Association and the Military Law Society. He graduated cum laude from Old Dominion University with a degree in international studies and a minor in political science. His academic journey also included study abroad programs in South Korea, Nigeria, and Estonia.

During law school, Josh completed internships with the Rockbridge County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and on Capitol Hill for Congressman Ben Cline. These roles provided insight into criminal prosecution and legislative processes. His early legal experience laid the groundwork for his future trial practice and government service.

Following graduation, Josh moved to Bethel, Alaska, to serve as an Assistant District Attorney and sexual assault prosecutor. He tried complex cases ranging from DUIs to felony assaults, attempted murders, and sexual abuse charges. He also received specialized litigation training from the National Advocacy Center and several legal conferences.

Josh joined the firm in 2022, bringing with him the benefit of a prosecutor’s perspective on investigations and courtroom dynamics. He now applies that insight to defending clients and advocating in civil matters. His approach is detailed, strategic, and built on trial-tested principles.
