About

Joseph D. Uliano, Esquire, is an Associate at Alavi + Braza, P.C., where he focuses his practice on real estate law. His experience includes representing both buyers and sellers, advising residential and commercial condominium developers, negotiating short sales, and serving as a closing attorney for local and national lenders. Joseph provides legal counsel throughout all stages of real estate transactions, helping clients navigate complex matters such as land use, title issues, and condominium conveyancing.

Joseph earned his B.A. in History and Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross and later obtained his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Land Court Department of the Massachusetts Trial Court. In this role, he wrote decisions on key real estate topics, including adverse possession and land use disputes—an experience that helped sharpen his legal writing and analytical skills.

Before entering the legal profession, Joseph worked as an Aide to then-Governor Mitt Romney. He managed and coordinated the Governor’s daily schedule, public events, private meetings, press briefings, and international diplomatic visits. This background gave Joseph valuable organizational experience and a strong foundation in high-level public service.

Since joining Alavi + Braza, P.C. in 2009, Joseph D. Uliano has built a strong practice by combining deep legal knowledge with a practical understanding of real estate dynamics. His work supports a wide range of clients, including individual homebuyers, property developers, and institutional lenders. With a detail-oriented and client-focused approach, Joseph continues to provide effective legal solutions in Massachusetts real estate law.
