Joseph Baldwin

Joseph Baldwin is an attorney with a long record of legal practice and public service in South Carolina. His career reflects a strong commitment to advocacy, informed decision making, and representing clients in matters that require both legal skill and practical judgment.

Joseph earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Cincinnati. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina in 1978. He is also a graduate of the Municipal Institute of Government and completed the Leadership Greer program in 1985.

Joseph served his community extensively through public office, including fifteen years as a City Councilman in Greer and eight years on Greenville City Council. During his service, he also served as Mayor Pro Tem for four years, gaining deep insight into municipal governance and public policy.

Before opening his private law practice in 2010, Joseph worked in state auto insurance, developing valuable experience with claims and regulatory matters. His legal practice focuses primarily on criminal law and personal injury, where he is known for his dedication to protecting client rights.
