Timothy Ricker

Timothy Ricker is a shareholder and experienced civil litigation attorney practicing in Missouri. His work centers on representing clients in complex disputes, with a strong focus on employment law, personal injury, medical negligence, and municipal matters. He is known for his thorough preparation and effective advocacy at every stage of litigation.

Timothy earned a Bachelor of Science in History from Truman State University in 2006, graduating magna cum laude. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2009, also graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the UMKC Law Review and as a pro se writ clerk for the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

While in law school, Timothy earned CALI Excellence Awards for the highest grades in Torts, Property II, Civil Procedure II, Evidence, and Constitutional Law II. These academic achievements reflect the strong legal foundation that continues to guide his litigation practice.

Since beginning his career, Timothy has been deeply involved in all phases of civil litigation. His employment law practice includes claims involving discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour disputes, and civil rights matters under § 1983. He also represents clients in medical malpractice, personal injury, and municipal law cases.

Timothy has experience drafting and filing pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, and presenting cases before judges and juries. He is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.
