Jordan M. Lewin

Jordan M. Lewin is a Coral Gables criminal defense attorney whose private practice is devoted solely to defending criminal cases. He handles trials, appeals, and post-conviction motion practice in state and federal matters, including DUI, drug crimes, assault and battery, white collar offenses, theft and robbery, sex crimes, and federal charges. His background as a former prosecutor gives him extensive experience with investigation, charging decisions, plea negotiations, and jury trials.

Jordan earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000 and a B.A. in Political Science, with a Metropolitan Studies concentration, from New York University in 1997. His law school achievements included Dean’s List recognition, the C. Clyde Atkins A.M.C. Award, and first place in the University of Miami Trial Competition, reflecting a strong foundation in courtroom advocacy and legal analysis.

Jordan began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, handling thousands of felony matters and trying more than fifty cases to verdict. He was promoted to Felony Division Chief, where his trial work expanded to capital cases. In private practice, he has continued trying criminal cases while pursuing appellate and post-conviction relief for clients seeking review of earlier convictions or rulings.

Jordan M. Lewin has been recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide and Florida Super Lawyers in criminal defense. He serves on the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the Southern District of Florida and is admitted before the US Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit, and federal district courts in Florida.
