About

Joe Zarzaur is a personal injury trial lawyer and Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist whose practice is devoted to personal injury and wrongful death cases. Zarzaur Law serves clients through several Florida offices, including Destin. He represents families and seriously injured clients in matters involving automobile crashes, medical malpractice, truck accidents, product liability, motorcycle crashes, boating incidents, brain injuries, and other catastrophic harm.

Joe earned a B.S. from Spring Hill College in 1993, where he studied sociology and held student-government leadership roles. He received his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1996 and competed on Cumberland’s National Trial Team. His education emphasized courtroom advocacy and gave him extensive early exposure to mock trial work, preparing him for a career centered on jury trials.

Joe began his career with a judicial clerkship, then worked in insurance defense while seeking additional jury-trial experience through criminal defense cases. He later moved into plaintiff personal injury practice and founded Zarzaur Law in 2007. He has tried cases against individuals and major organizations in several states, and his practice has secured significant injury and wrongful death verdicts, including record verdicts in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

Joe Zarzaur has held civil trial board certification through The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 2006. He is active in trial-lawyer organizations, judicial nominating work, and professional associations including the Florida Justice Association and American Board of Trial Advocates. His practice reflects sustained focus on serious injury litigation, jury-trial preparation, and representation of clients facing permanent harm or the death of a family member.
