Jonathan P. Emenhiser

Jonathan P. Emenhiser is a partner at Plews Shadley Racher & Braun in Indianapolis. He represents businesses and individuals in complex litigation involving commercial disputes, insurance coverage, and environmental matters. His practice includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, as well as handling appeals at the state and federal levels. Jonathan also works with clients in industries including agribusiness, manufacturing, and closely held businesses.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law in 2000 and received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Manchester College in 1997. He was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2000 and is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana. His legal education and litigation background provide a strong foundation for evaluating complex disputes, developing case strategies, and representing clients through trial and appellate proceedings.

Jonathan has handled a range of significant commercial and insurance-related disputes in state and federal courts. His published matters include multiple proceedings in FLM, LLC v. Cincinnati Insurance Co., as well as cases involving Caraustar, Continental Insurance, EZ Corp., Ken-Mac Metals, and Independent Sheet Metal. Through this work, he assists clients with litigation strategy, insurance coverage questions, environmental disputes, and other complex business issues that require careful analysis and effective courtroom advocacy.
