Jonathan E. Eady

Jonathan E. Eady is Chairman and a Partner in the Real Estate practice. He counsels business and real estate clients on financing, investment, acquisition, development, and operational decisions. His practice covers joint ventures, asset purchases and sales, mergers, governance matters, leases, restructurings, and complex debt and equity financing.

Jonathan earned his Associate of Arts from Oxford College of Emory University and his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University. He later received his Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review.

Jonathan represents developers, owners, investors, lenders, and operators across healthcare real estate, housing, hospitality, retail, and logistics sectors. He structures operating and investment entities, negotiates joint venture agreements, and guides clients through each phase of development. His work includes public-private partnerships, low-income housing tax credits, and other subsidized financing structures.

Jonathan has handled transactions involving mixed-use developments, senior housing, affordable housing, hotel projects, and large portfolio financings. He has represented borrowers in CMBS loans secured by multi-state properties, developers in Caribbean resort projects, REITs in acquisitions of malls and distribution facilities, and investors in equity and distressed asset matters.
