Jonathan C. Puth is a founding partner at Correia & Puth, PLLC, where he has spent over 25 years advocating for employee rights in the Washington, D.C. area and beyond. He represents clients in discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, and unpaid wage claims, and negotiates executive contracts and severance agreements with strategic precision.

Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1992 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and before the United States Supreme Court. His litigation experience includes landmark class actions and federal court victories.

Among his most notable achievements, Jonathan co-counseled Hartman v. Powell, a gender discrimination case that resulted in over $565 million in relief—the largest Civil Rights Act award in history. He received the 2000 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and was inducted into the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2020.

Jonathan is deeply engaged in advancing employee rights through education, legislation, and advocacy. He is a past president of the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association and an active member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the National Trans Bar Association, and the Disability Rights Bar Association.
